Intimhir, recent winner for the Wertheimers brothers of the Prix de La Chapelle, a strong maiden ran in Longchamp over 1800 m is half sister to Sortilege, recent winner of the GP de Strasbourg (Listed), to Lombatina (King's Best), and to Sahitas (Lomitas), bought last year by Stud Rio Doïs Irmaõs and exported to Argentina where she foaled a filly by Gr 1 sire Desert Style. Sahitas is in foal to Catcher In The Rye.
Their dam, Sahel (Monsun) is half-sister to three German Gr 1 winners (Schiaparelli, Samum and Salve Regina) as well as Sasuela, dam of the recent German Gr3 winner Seismos (Baden Wurttemberg trophy). No doubt that Sahitas will do well for her new owners!

Piracicaba (f. 2009, Dansili-Montaria (Dashing Blade) proved how confortable she is at Saint Cloud by winning the Listed Prix Joubert over 2400 m on the left hand track. Having N° 1 in the starting gate, she took the lead and was always in the three firsts. She kept fighting and won by half a length in a race of a very high level.
Her dam being half sister to Monsun, she has everything to be a top broodmare: class, pedigree and a good physic. Once again, Old Friends is getting a good return on their investment!
Alain de Royer-Dupré always had trust in her and the perfect ground did suit her very well. Next race could be a group one...

Noble Pea has been bred to Invicible Spirit and the excellent race of her brother Dundonnell in the Champagne Stakes makes her an excellent buy.
He should go for the Breeders' Cup for the biggest pleasure of Stud Rio Doîs Irmaõs who is expecting Noble Plea at the end of the year in Brazil !

Sahitas has a filly by Desert Style born south hemisphere time and is in foal to Catcher In The Rye.The family is improving every year !

Another daughter of Linamix is due to arrive to Argentina: Santinama, bought by Fernando Fantini through France Turf on behalf of Haras Pozo de Luna.Half sister to Santiaga (Deputy Commander) dam of the multiple Group placed Argentinian Safety Belt, her third dam is the great Sacahuista, Breeders' Cup Distaff winner.
Santinama is in foal to Danzig's son Astronomer Royal, winner of the Poule d'Essai des Poulains, who is having his first 2 y-old running this year.
Linamix is doing extremely well in Europ as well as in Brasil, no doubt that the few Linamix mares that are in Argentina will be as successfull!

Once again, the Camargo family has showned trust in France Turf. They bought two yearlings fillies at Arqana in August.
Hip number 159 is a Dalakhani filly out of a winning daughter of Danehill, herself half-sister to 7 blacktype horses. She is due to go to Alain de Royer-Dupré. Lot 365 is a Muhtathir filly out of a dual winning daughter of Oasis Dream whose bottom line is the one of the great Miesque. She will go to the same trainer.Old Friends baught Piracicaba two years ago and they proved to be right.
Through Haras d'Omméel, they sold an Elusive City colt out of their Polite Society (Seeking The Gold) mare, showing that way they believe in the French system. A great thanks to them!

This Brazilian young team has bought two mares at Tattersalls July including Noble Plea (2009,Proud Citizen) whose half brother Dundonnell (First Defence) made his start the following day at Newmarket, running a very credible 3rd. He did confirmed a fortnight after, winning by 12 lengths his maiden, in record time. By winning his Group 3 at York 19 days later in the Acomb Stakes, ran over 7 furlongs, he made Noble Plea an even better prospect broodmare. She is due to be covered by Invincible Spirit south hemipshere time before beign exported to Brazil.

Arvistyle, now in Prague, is showing quality for the biggest pleasure of his owner, Ing. F. Hruby.

In buying in Deauville Arvistyle for a small amount of money, Ing. Frantisek Hruby has bought big dreams for little money. This 2 y-o gelding is an outstanding good looking colt and if he doesn't look an early sort, he shall make a very pleasant 3 y-o next year.
